Looking for a Few Good People!
Waterloo Regional Crime Stoppers is currently looking for dedicated volunteers to sit on our Board of Directors. We seek active Board members willing to meet and serve on Board subcommittees as well as to help organize and staff our events. Active community leaders and recent retirees willing to find the time to serve with enthusiasm, having proven skills in fundraising, leadership, sales and marketing, production, management, law, policy or finance are most welcome. Reflect the cultural diversity of our dynamic local community, while helping us fight crime! The Board of Directors requires members who are:
- 18 years of age or older
- not employees of any law enforcement agency
- willing to become a Director of the Board
As a Director, you would be required to meet once a month to administer the business of the Board. In addition, as a committee member you may be required to meet more often depending on the duties of the committee. Also, Directors are instrumental in fundraising and awareness initiatives on an ongoing basis to ensure the success of the program.
