On October 27, 2017, at approximately 5:40 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police received a report of a robbery at a Scotiabank, located at 569 King Street North in Waterloo. Three males, all dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered, walked into the bank and demanded money. They fled on foot and were last seen running in the area of Northfield Drive West and King Street North in Waterloo.

On Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police received a report of a robbery on Morgan Avenue in Kitchener. A Kitchener man was walking south on Morgan Avenue when he was approached by another man who brandished a knife and demanded the victim turn over all of his belongings. The victim complied and was not injured. The suspect fled on foot. He is described as a black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old and six-feet-tall. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt and grey track pants.

 Waterloo Regional Police Major Crime Branch is releasing a composite sketch of a person believed to be connected to a sexual assault of a young female child which  occurred at approximately 7:00 PM, Friday, October 27, 2017, in a stairwell of 318 Patricia Avenue, Kitchener.

 
The suspect is believed to have frequented the building or the area and is described as being: Male white adult, taller with a slender build and light brown hair. He has no beard and was not wearing glasses at the time of the offence. He was wearing grey pants, a short sleeved shirt with green/grey stripes, a red and black checkered lumber jack jacket and grey shoes.
 
The sketch being released is based on information gathered during the ongoing investigation.
 
Waterloo Regional Police are asking anyone with information concerning this incident, or anyone with information as to the identity of the person depicted in the composite, to call police at 519-570-9777 ext. 8666 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. As well, police are urging the person responsible for this assault to come forward by contacting investigators or reporting to any police division.
 
Parents and caregivers are reminded to be vigilant while monitoring children in their care and report any adults approaching or showing undue attention to children.

SYNOPSIS:
On September 26, 2017 at approximately 9pm, a female completed her shopping at the Sunrise Centre Walmart and was walking towards her vehicle in the side parking lot. A male approached her and asked her for directions, which she provided.  She entered her vehicle to leave, at which time the male assaulted her with a conducted energy weapon.  The female pushed the male away to exit her vehicle, backed away, and called police. The male was last seen speeding out of the parking lot in a newer white Dodge Caravan with a black stripe on the side.
 
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early to mid-20’s with a heavy build and is approximately 5’4” tall. He has black hair with puffy curls behind the ears. The suspect was wearing a black t-shirt with a design on the front and baggy knee length shorts. The suspect was described as soft spoken.

 SYNOPSIS On September 20, 2017 at 5:00 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police received a report that two males broke into an apartment building on Country Hill Drive in Kitchener by prying open the secure access front door. The two suspects were confronted by the superintendent and left the scene. The first suspect is described as male, white with a slim build and a tattoo on the left side of his neck that continues to his upper neck. He was wearing a black Blue Jays hat, a dark grey short sleeve shirt with a black long-sleeve shirt underneath, dark pants, black shoes and a dark backpack. The second suspect is described as male, white with a slim build. He was wearing a blue hoody, dark pants, white shoes, a dark backpack with orange on it and black gloves.

On March 23, 2017, shortly after midnight, Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at a Kitchener Convenience store on Kingsway Drive in Kitchener. Two male suspects walked into the store, brandished knives and demanded money from the clerk and fled. No one was injured. 
 
The males are described as being between 20 to 25 years old, six feet two inches to six feet five inches tall. They were wearing black pants and black jackets and had their faces concealed.

On May 22, 2017, at around 2:30 a.m., an unknown male suspect broke into a Waterloo gun store and stole several guns. A total of five guns were taken, including long guns and shotguns. No ammunition was taken. The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 6 feet tall with an athletic build. Surveillance images are being released and police would like to speak to the male seen in the images in connection to the incident.

SYNOPSIS:
 
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a series of break and enters that occurred at Southridge Public School in Kitchener during the past month. The most recent incident occurred on May 7, 2017, when about 40 iPads were stolen out of several classrooms. Police responded to the school but were unable to locate any suspects. The iPads stolen were used for educational purposes for the children at the school and are estimated to be worth $20,000. During the incident, the suspect or suspects also smashed the glass of a large school aquarium. The school had been targeted on two other occasions in April, when other electronics were stolen. Police are investigating whether all three incidents are connected. Police believe the stolen iPads are being sold in person.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 50-60 years of age, bald with a white beard and moustache, heavy set with a large stomach.

On Friday, March 31, 2017, at around 8:15 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police received a report of a young girl being approached by an unknown male while walking along Louisa Street in Kitchener. The girl was walking on the sidewalk, heading towards Margaret Avenue, when a man approached her and grabbed her right arm. The girl was able to run away and was not physically injured. Police searched the area but were unable to locate a suspect. 
 
A composite sketch is being released in the hopes someone may recognize the suspect and notify police or Crime Stoppers.

At 5:20 p.m., the male took 3 Rolex watches and ran from the store. He was chased out of the mall and entered a white, TOYOTA SIENNA. The vehicle exited the parking lot on Old Abbey Court, in Waterloo. Police are looking to identify the male described as: - white, late 20’s to early 30’s - approximately 6’0” to 6’3” - skinny build, with brown short hair and blue eyes - wearing black shinny dress shoes, grey dress pants, green and grey tie, dark blue v neck sweater over white dress shirt.

On January 17, 2017, at approximately 11 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Milk Convenience store, located on Courtland Avenue East in Kitchener. A lone male entered the store holding what appeared to be a handgun and demanded money from the cash register before fleeing the area. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white man, between 5-feet six-inches to five-foot eight-inches tall and weighing between 160 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a black winter coat, dark grey sweatpants, black shoes and grey gloves.

In the early morning hours of Monday, January 30, 2017, Waterloo Regional Police responded to Eastwood Collegiate Institute, located at 760 Weber Street East in Kitchener for a report of a break in. Unknown suspects entered the school through a cafeteria door and proceeded to the ATM cash machine, located on the main level. The suspects then attempted to gain access to the cash box by cutting into the ATM with a torch, however they were unsuccessful. The suspects fled prior to police arrival.

SYNOPSIS:

On Saturday, January 14, 2017, at 2:45 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a physical altercation between one male and two females outside of a bar, located at 700 Strasburg Road in Kitchener. The argument was observed by a 26-year-old security guard who was patrolling the plaza at the time. The security guard attempted to stop the altercation and was hit in the head with an unknown edged weapon. The involved parties fled the area before police arrived. The security guard was taken to a local hospital for treatment and later released.

Police are looking for two men. First suspect is described as a black male, five-foot eight-inches tall with braided black hair. He was wearing a red shirt, a black zip-up sweater, dark pants and had a gold grill in his teeth.

The second man is described as black, five-foot eight-inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing dark clothing.

Investigation revealed that a woman had pulled her vehicle over to the side of the road to retrieve her cell phone that had fallen on the floor. She stepped outside the vehicle to find her phone and was approached by an unknown man from behind. The woman was able to fight off the assailant and, in doing so, sustained minor injuries.

On October 15, 2016, at 1:30 a.m., the Cambridge Fire Department and the Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to two separate fires on Myers Road in Cambridge. A vehicle was found to be on fire in the garage of a residence. Another fire was reported in the backyard of a nearby residence. The flames were put out and there were no injuries. The total damage to property is estimated at $25,000. The fires are considered suspicious.

The third suspect is described as a white man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build. Police believe this incident was targeted and there is no safety risk to the community.

On Monday, September 19th, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police received reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Kinzie Avenue and Harold Avenue in Kitchener. A teenage girl was walking in the area when a vehicle slowed down beside her. When the girl looked towards the vehicle, she saw the male driver expose himself. The girl continued to walk away from the vehicle and approached an elderly couple for help. The suspect then drove away.

The vehicle is described as a compact silver four-door vehicle with a sun roof, possibly a newer Mazda model. The suspect is described as a white man, between 25-30 years old and balding. He was wearing a dark T-shirt and shorts.

SYNOPSIS:
On Friday, September 9, 2016. At 11:30 p.m., a 20-year-old Cambridge woman was walking along Langs Drive, between Hespeler Road and Concession Road, when she was grabbed from behind and pulled to the ground by a man. The victim fought back and began screaming. A nearby neighbor heard the victim and came to her assistance. The suspect took off and was last seen running along Langs Drive towards Livingston Crescent. The victim was transported to hospital and treated for minor injuries to her face. It is not yet clear if this was a targeted incident.

The suspect is described as a white man, possibly with darker skin, a partially bald or shaved head and round face. He is between 32-36 years old, 55 - 510" with a muscular, stocky build. He was wearing shorts and a blue sleeveless shirt.

The clerk was able to alert Police and the suspects immediately left. The clerk was uninjured. A search of the area by Police had negative results.

Police are looking to identify the following individuals:
Suspect #1 Male, white, 5 foot 8 inches tall, medium build, wearing black ski mask with oval shaped eye opening, black long sleeve jacket, capri style pants, white socks and, dark shoes.
Suspect 2 described as: white male wearing a blue bandana covering face.

SYNOPSIS:
On August 9th 2016 at approximately 4:20 a.m., two males armed with weapons entered a residence in the area of Wilson Avenue and Eighth Avenue in Kitchener through an unlocked rear door. The two demanded money from the homeowner. When confronted by the family dog, the two fled the home. Police searched the area with negative results. No one was injured as a result of this incident.

The first male is described as black, 6 feet tall, 20-30 years old, thin, wearing dark hoodie dark jeans, gloves and bandana over face. This male was in possession of a handgun.

The second male is described as either white or Asian, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 20-30 years old and was wearing gloves. This male was in possession of a knife.

On Sunday August 28th, 2016 at approximately 4:34 a.m.. Waterloo Regional Police responded to several fires on John Street West and Allen Street West in the City of Waterloo. A suspect was seen running eastbound on John Street West from one of the involved residences.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, slim build, wearing shorts and a baseball cap on backwards.

On August 9, 2016 at 2:20 a.m., a 20 year old woman was awoken to find a male in the basement of her family home. The male had entered the home through an unlocked basement window. When the woman screamed for her parents the male fled back out the same window. Waterloo Regional Police attended and searched the area but were unable to locate the male.

The male is described as: 21-25 years of age, 6’1”-6’2”, light brown skin, 180-200 lbs, broad shoulders, black hair, perfectly groomed beard which was black in colour and very full, brown eyes, dark eyebrows which were groomed. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black hoodie and dark coloured jeans.

On Thursday July 21, 2016 at approximately 1:00 am, three males were walking along University Ave, when a male suspect appeared from out of the trees between University Ave and the Food Basic’s Plaza near Fischer Hallman Road. The suspect approached the three victims holding what appeared to be a handgun at his side. The suspect told the victims to give him all their stuff, cocked the gun and pointed it at them. The victims provided the suspect with their property and fled. The victims were not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20’s, heavier build, wearing a black nylon over his face, black hoodie, black track pants and red high top running shoes.

SYNOPSIS:

On June 19, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m., a 22 year old female was sexually assaulted by an unknown male while walking on Hazel Street, Waterloo. The male grabbed the female from behind and released his grip once a witness heard the female scream. The male was last seen running towards University Avenue. Approximately half an hour later, two females in their early 20s were approached from behind and inappropriately touched while walking on Lester Street, Waterloo. There was a physical altercation and the male may have suffered an injury to his eye. In both incidents, the females were not injured. Police are investigating whether the two incidents are related.

The suspect is described as male, black, in his 20s, short dark hair, 5'10", 170-180 pounds wearing a grey or cream coloured sweater and grey basketball shorts.

On April 1st, 2016 the Waterloo Regional Police responded to the area of Uptown Waterloo for a property damage report. Between 10:00am and 12:30pm on April 1st, an unknown suspect scratched a swastika symbol into the passenger door of a vehicle parked on Dominion Alley in Uptown Waterloo.

A male was seen in the area at the time of the offence. He is described as white, approximately 70 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and 180 pounds. He was wearing a dark coloured winter hat, and a brown jacket with red clothing underneath.

The males were seen exiting a grey or silver, older model sedan. One of the males brandished a knife and demanded the victim`s wallet and phone. No injuries occurred as a result. Police are looking to identify three males.

The males were described as: Male 1 - black, 6'0", full beard, wearing a dark coloured hoodie, dark blue jeans.

Male 2 - white, 6'0", wearing white t-shirt, light blue jeans, and a short gold necklace.

Male 3 - black, 5'10", wearing a black hoodie with zipper, earrings and a hat.

On Sunday, June 19th, 2016, at approximately 10:00 p.m., an unknown male suspect confronted a lone victim riding their bicycle on a trail near the area of Krug St and Becker St., in the City of Kitchener. The suspect pulled out a small pocket knife and ordered the victim to surrender his bicycle. The victim complied and the suspect left the area while riding the bicycle heading east bound on Krug St towards Becker St. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a male white, 6 feet tall with a thin build, 23-25 years old, wearing a long sleeve black hoody with the hood worn over his head and partially covering his face. The bicycle is described as a men’s speed bike grey with purple lettering, the make is 'Tundra', and the model is 'Seragheti'. It is in poor condition with non-functioning front brakes.

On Friday June 17, 2016 at approximately 11:45 p.m., two male suspects entered the Heritage Convenience store at 200 Lorraine Avenue, Kitchener and demanded cash from the clerk. The males were armed with knives. The suspects then fled on foot. A canine track was initiated but he suspects were not located.

On Saturday June 18, 2016 at approximately 1:15 a.m. a second robbery took place at the Gino’s Pizza situated at 1405 Ottawa Street North in the City of Kitchener involving the same two suspects. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the register and the suspects again fled on foot.

They are described as: 1 - male, light skin, wearing a black balaclava, blue sweater and running shoes. 2 - male, light skin, hoody, balaclava.

The male was last seen wearing, skinny gray jeans, a gray beanie hat, thick light gray zip up hoodie, white t-shirt, red and black formal looking shoes, carrying red and black backpack. The male was also observed driving a black Mitsubishi SUV.

SYNOPSIS:

On Saturday March 12, 2016 a robbery occurred at the CIBC bank on King Street North in Waterloo. A lone male entered the branch and told the teller he had a gun. No gun was seen during the incident or after. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The investigation is being handled by Detectives who are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

The suspect is described as a male white with tan or possibly olive complexion, 45-50 years old, 5’5" tall, medium to stocky build, and was wearing dark pants, black zippered hooded sweatshirt with hood up, black ball cap and sunglasses.

The Suspect punctured a total of 10 tires of 3 vehicles before travelling to the parking lot located behind 35 Arthur Street. While in this second lot the suspect punctured all of the tires attached to 3 vehicles. The suspect then attend the parking lots of 10 and 21 Church St where he punctured the tires of 4 additional vehicles.

The suspect is described as a white male with thinning hair wearing a green winter jacket.

On April 20, 2016 between 1:30 and 3:00 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police and Cambridge Fire Department responded to two separate fires in the area of Stonecairn Drive, in the City of Cambridge. Although it was garbage that had been set on fire, in one instance a motor vehicle nearby received some minor damage due to the heat.  On April 21, 2016 at approximately 10:58 p.m., a shed fire was reported in the area of Stonecairn Drive and Essex Point Drive, this is the third reported fire in the area.
